about lizardman

A few things I am trying to decide:

1) do they have opposible thumbs?

(important in weapon style)

2) do they have hair

(alright, so they are lizards, but they are also men...)

3) do they customarily wear clothes...

(kind of important, because clothes is related to civilization. If they don't wear clothes, it's hard to blame the elves for treating them like animals)

4) how much resemblance they have to upright human form (or 4-legged crawing lizard form)

5) unity within the race - do male and female look different? How different? Are skin tone etc consistant within the race?
